e-Waste Conference 7 November 2008To celebrate an exciting year of continuing existing pilot projects starting new initiatives eWASA is hosting an e-Waste Conference on 7 November 2008. It will be a forum to discuss successes and lessons learnt, while implementing e-waste management systems and serve as an opportunity for the project team to report on progress made during the year. Alan Finlay will present the results of our national e-waste assessment, which will inform the way forward for eWASA and its partners. e-Waste NewseWASA launches new website The e-Waste Association of South Africa has launched a new website which features details on the planned e-waste management system it wants to implement fully starting January 2009. The Association is working to build links in e-waste management and the site now features a list of collection and recyling facilities country-wide.
